Kattenbusch is located south of the city center of Radevormwald. Kattenbusch can be reached from Bundesstraße 229 via Ispingrader Straße. Neighboring towns are Radevormwald, Kaffeekanne , Ispingrade and Sieplenbusch .

A tributary of the Wiebach , a tributary of the Wupper, which flows south of the village, rises in the village .

history

In 1715 the place is recorded as "Cattenbusch" in the Topographia Ducatus Montani . In the topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1825, the place is marked under the name "Katzenbusch". Up until the 1962 edition, more recent topographical maps show a location outside the city. In 1969 the development of the city of Radevormwald had already grown to the local limits of Kattenbusch.
