Diepenbruch is located in the east of the Radevormwald urban area on the city limits of Halver . The neighboring towns are Kettlershaus and Wintershaus . In Wintershaus, a cul-de-sac branches off the federal road 229 and leads to the residential area.

A tributary of the "Hartmecke" rises north of the Hofschaft and flows into the Ennepe near the town of Hartmecke, which belongs to the town of Halver.

There is a connection to the public transport network via the bus stop on line 134 (VRL) in Kettlershaus .

history

The place name Diepenbruch appears on the official topographic map from 1892 to 1894. Before that, the farm was named in the Prussian first survey from 1840 to 1843 with "in deep break" and in the map Topographischeaufnahme der Rheinlande from 1825 with "Brauk".
