Kettlershaus is located in the east of the Radevormwald urban area on the city limits of Halver . The neighboring towns are Altendorf , Tanne , Wintershaus and Linde . The place can be reached in Radevormwalder urban area via the federal road 229 .

There is a connection to the public transport network via the local bus stop for line 134 (VRL).

Southwest of the village stems from the Moorbach which in Wipperfurth polycystic Hausen in the Bever empties .

history

In the topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1825, the place "Kettlershaus" is shown.

The section of the Bergische Landwehr , which passed near the Hofschaft and stretched from Wuppertal-Elberfeld to Marienheide-Krommenohl, protected the Bergische territory from incursions from the Märkisch region. The local researcher Gerd Helbeck dates the emergence of this Landwehr to the early 14th century.
