Location of Bergerhof in Radevormwald

Bergerhof is a district in Radevormwald in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Bergerhof is located west of the town center of Radevormwald, directly on the federal road 229 . The neighboring towns are Herbeck , Leimhol , Grünenbaum , Nadelsiepen and the actual city center of Radevormwald.

The municipal cemetery is located in Bergerhof, where most of the victims of the 1971 train accident near Dahlerau are buried.

The state road  412 flows into Bergerhof and crosses the Wuppertalsperre from the federal road 51 . Immediately at the estuary is the Froweinpark with the memorial stone to the file manufacturer Gottlieb Frowein and the moonstone, which reminds of the sunken villages in the Wuppertalsperre.

history

From 1904 to 1956 bicycles and motorcycles were produced in the Bismarck factory.
