Filderheide is a village in Radevormwald in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the North Rhine-Westphalian administrative district of Cologne in Germany .

Location and description

The place is in the northeast of the urban area near the city limits to Breckerfeld . The neighboring towns are called Vor der Heide , Feckinghausen , Filde , Husmecke and Hürxtal . Filderheide can be reached via Kreisstraße  7, which branches off from Bundesstraße 483 in Scheideweg and first passes through Vor der Mark, Niederwönkhausen and Wönkhausen.

A spring brook for the Lambeck brook rises near the settlement area ; the eastern spring waters flow into the Ennepe .

Politically, the place is represented by the direct candidate from electoral district 170 in the city council of Radevormwald.

history

In the map of the topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1825, the place is named "Filderheid". The Prussian first recording from 1840 to 1843 shows several scattered and delimited courtyard areas at the same place, which have no place names. From the official topographic map ( Prussian new record ) from 1892 to 1894, the place name "Filderheide", which is in use today, is given.
