Im Hagen is a place in Radevormwald in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the North Rhine-Westphalian administrative district of Cologne in Germany .

Location and description

Im Hagen is located in the northwest of Radevormwald near the city center. Other neighboring towns are Unterste Mühle , Leimholer Mühle and Neuenhammer . The place can be reached via the Uelfe-Wuppertalstrasse. A junction at the Uelfebad leads to the place.

The Eistringhauser Bach flows northwest of the village and the Uelfe runs southeast .

history

The place was mentioned for the first time in 1315, namely “Count Adolf VI. v. Berg acquires from Gottfried v. Sayn et al. a. the good ". The spelling of the first mention was Hagene . In 1715 the farm is also listed as "Freýhof" on the Topographia Ducatus Montani .
