The Wald-Wasser-Wolle-Wander-Weg is a 20.5-kilometer circular hiking trail in the western part of the town of Radevormwald in North Rhine-Westphalia . It has a Ra in a circle as a signpost and is therefore also known as the Radevormwalder Rundweg . In a survey in a hiking portal in cooperation with Stiftung Warentest , the hiking trail was voted the most popular hiking destination in North Rhine-Westphalia with 5,400 votes in January 2009.

designation

The hiking trail was newly created in 2007 by the Bergisches Land district of the Sauerland Mountain Association (SGV). The forest in the name stands for the natural course mainly through forests, the wool for the industrial-historical important factories of the textile industry on the way in the valley of the Wupper and water for the long sections along the Wupper, the Wuppertalsperre and other streams.

course

The path begins in Radevormwalder city center, leads via Geilensiepen and Espert through the Hulverscheidter Bachtal to the Wiebach pre- dam of the Wuppertal dam , leads over Berg and Heidersteg along the banks to the dam of the dam. Then he touches the former paper factory in Wilhelmstal , the former Hardt & Pocorny textile factory in Dahlhausen , the Dahlhausen museum train station , other listed textile factories near Vogelsmühle and the Wülfingmuseum in the old textile factory in Dahlerau . The round closes again via Herkingrade , Im Hagen and the Uelfebad .
