Posthornweg
The Posthornweg is a 35.8-kilometer circular hiking trail around the town of Langenfeld (Rhineland) . Since it follows the Langenfeld city limits, it also runs in sections in the area of the neighboring cities of Solingen , Leichlingen, Monheim am Rhein , Düsseldorf and Hilden . As a signpost , the hiking trail has a post horn in a circle , which refers to Langenfeld's long tradition of mail transport since 1668. The road signs are updated at regular intervals by the Langenfeld local department of the Sauerland Mountain Association .
