Wiebach is a court in Radevormwald in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the North Rhine-Westphalian administrative district of Cologne in Germany .

Location and description

The Hofschaft Wiebach is located in the southwest of the city of Radevormwald, just under 200 meters from the Wuppertalsperre on the city limits to Hückeswagen . The neighboring towns are Berg , Heide , Ispingrade and, in the Hückeswagen urban area, Oberhombrechen .

Within a radius of 100 meters around the Hofschaft, the Wiebacher Siepen and the Hulverscheider Siepen flow into the Ispingrad Brook flowing past in the east .

history

1956 shows the official topographic map at the place of Wiebach delimited courtyard with building floor plans. A place name is not recorded in it. In the topographical survey of the Rhineland map from 1824 , a mill is drawn below the confluence of the Ispingrader Bach in the Wiebach , 500 m to the south from today's Hofschaft. The name of the location is given as "Wiebecke". The Prussian first recording from 1840 to 1844 shows a mill in the same place. The inscription here reads "Bone Mill" From the official topographic map ( Prussian New Admission ) from 1893 to 1895, the name "Wiebach" is used. The map from 1989 shows the place of the mill already flooded by the Wuppertal dam.
