Im Kamp is a court in Radevormwald in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the North Rhine-Westphalian administrative district of Cologne in Germany .

Location and description

The Hofschaft is located in the north of the city, right next to the neighboring Hofschaft Fuhr . Other neighboring towns are Sondern , Altenhof , Eistringhausen , Önkfeld and Oberönkfeld .

Im Kamp is on Kreisstraße  6 and can be reached from there via a side road. Another route connection is via the Fuhr estate to Landesstraße  130. The Fuhrer Bach flows into the Eistringhauser Bach between Fuhr and Im Kamp .

history

The place was first mentioned in documents in 1502. "Im Campe" is listed in the church accounts of the Reformed parish in Radevormwald at that time.

In 1815/16 the place had 15 residents. In 1832 the place belonged to the parish Remlingrade of the rural outskirts of the mayor's office Radevormwald . The place, which was categorized as a hamlet according to the statistics and topography of the Düsseldorf administrative district , had two residential buildings at the time. At that time 28 people lived in the place, five Catholic and 23 Protestant faith. In 1888, four houses with 22 inhabitants are listed in the community encyclopedia of the Rhine Province .
