The place is in the north of the urban area. The neighboring towns are Jakobsholt , Landwehr , Obernhof and Freudenberg . Karlshöh is located directly on the federal highway 483 in the area where the road junction  130.

A source brook of the Freebach rises near the main road between the villages of Karlshöh and Landwehr.
