Sieplenbusch is a village in Radevormwald in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the North Rhine-Westphalian administrative district of Cologne in Germany .

Sieplenbusch

Sieplenbusch is located south of the center of Radevormwald and can be reached from Bundesstraße 229 via Ispingrader Straße. Neighboring towns are Radevormwald, Kattenbusch and Ispingrade , which reach up to 150 m from the local boundary .

The Ispingrader Bach , a tributary of the Wupper, flows past to the west .

history

The place is listed in a population list from October 20, 1816 of the city of Radevormwald. According to this, the inhabitants of the farms and places listed there belonged to a “free zone” marked by stakes. In the map of the topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1825, the place is shown under the name "Siebelnbusch".

Culture

According to the plans of a local gallery owner, a “ Museum for Asian Art ” is to be opened on his private property . His private collection of Asian art, which is said to be one of the most important in Europe, is to be included in the exhibition. The outdoor area is to be redesigned into a Himalayan and sculpture garden, as well as offering space for outdoor catering. On March 2, 2009, the Radevormwald City Council decided to change the zoning plan in order to make this project possible.
