Lambeck is a village in Radevormwald in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the North Rhine-Westphalian administrative district of Cologne in Germany .

The place is in the north of the urban area. The neighboring towns are Milspe , Kronenberg , Freudenberg and Lambecker Mühle .

South of Lambeck springs from a backwater of the Heilenbecke dam opens Bach Heilenbecke which in the upper reaches also Lambecke is called.

Politically, the place is represented by the direct candidate from electoral district 170 in the city council of Radevormwald.

In 1514 church accounts of the Reformed parish Radevormwald name the place for the first time under the name "Langenbecke". In a document from Duke Wilhelm von Jülich from 1383, a "Untersasse Hillebrant Langenbeke" is mentioned. The unambiguous determination of the location is uncertain here.

The names of places vary over time. In the Topographia Ducatus Montani from 1715, the place name is given as "Langenbec". In 1774, in the marriage register of the Hückeswagen parish office, the village is referred to as "auf der Lambeck". The topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1825 is called "Lambeck", while the Prussian first survey from 1840 to 1843 says "auf der Lambeck".
