Uelfe IV is a court in Radevormwald in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the North Rhine-Westphalian administrative district of Cologne in Germany .

Location and description

The Hofschaft is located in the north of the urban area, directly on a side road that branches off from state road 414 in the direction of Oberönkfeld . Neighboring towns are Oberste Mühle , Scheidt and the northern part of Radevormwald. The development of the city of Radevormwald extends up to about 250 m to the outskirts of Uelfe IV. The Böckersfeld Bach flows into the Uelfe on the northern outskirts .

Politically, the court is represented by the direct candidate from electoral district 170 in the city council of Radevormwald.

history

The place Uelfe is mentioned for the first time in 1484. A "Clais in Olve" is listed in a loan list for Duke Wilhelm III von Berg . In the map topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1825 the place name is "Cöllnisch Uelfe". In the Prussian first recording from 1840 to 1843, the place is listed under "Holzülfe". Only the historical topographical map from 1892 to 1894 ( Prussian new admission ) mentions the place name in use today "Uelfe IV"
