Unterm Busch is a village in Radevormwald in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the North Rhine-Westphalian administrative district of Cologne in Germany .

Location and description

The place is in the north of the urban area. The neighboring towns are Önkfeld , Im Kamp , Fuhr , Ümminghausen and Oberönkfeld . In the northeast of Unterm Busch the Brunsbach flows past, which in its further course merges with the Eistringhauser Bach and flows into the Uelfe . The Untermbuschbach , a tributary of the Brunsbach, rises on the western edge of the village .

Politically, the place is represented by the direct candidate from electoral district 170 in the city council of Radevormwald.

history

A list of the war-related destruction of the Thirty Years' War in Radevormwald from 1655 and 1656 shows the status of “almost all” destroyed or “deserted” for the properties in Unterm Busch.

In 1715 the farm is listed on the Topographia Ducatus Montani as "under the bush". The topographical recording of the Rhineland from 1825 shows the place with the designation "Busch". The Prussian first recording from 1840 to 1844 and the following cards use the name Unterm Busch.
