Rochollsberg is a hamlet in Radevormwald in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the North Rhine-Westphalian administrative district of Cologne in Germany .
Location and description
Rochollsberg is located north of the Radevormwald center at 386 m above sea level. NHN . The neighboring towns are Brunsheide , Brunshöh , Heidt , Oberönkfeld , Önkfeld , Scheideweg , Scheidt and Wellringrade . The place can be reached via a cul-de-sac that joins Bundesstraße 483 at Scheideweg .
The Rochollsberger Siepen and the Scheidter Bach , both tributaries of the Uelfe, arise near Rochollsberg .
history
Rochollsberg is mentioned for the first time in 1433 and 1434. On the occasion of the naming of "war damage caused by the devastation of the troops of Cologne Archbishop Dietrich von Moers", the place is called "Rokesberg".
Before the 18th century, Rochollsberg consisted of two separate courts . In 1715 the courtyards on the Topographia Ducatus Montani , which were still separate at that time, are referred to as "Ruckelsberg" and "K.Ruckelsberg".
Hiking and biking trails
The local hiking trails "A2" and "A6" run through the village.
In winter, cross-country skiing trails are groomed around Rochollsberg .
