Hönde is a hamlet in Radevormwald in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the North Rhine-Westphalian administrative district of Cologne in Germany .
Location and description
The town of Hönde, which is divided into two settlement areas, is located in the south of Radevormwald on the city limits to Wipperfürth near the Bevertalsperre .
The neighboring towns are Hönderbruch , Lichteneichen , Levenhausen (Wipperfürth) and Kotten (Wipperfürth) . The place can be reached via the district road 11, from which two access roads branch off at the height of the Moorbacher Berg.
West of Hönde flows Erlenbach , which in its further course in the Erlenbach-Vorsperre the Bevertalsperre opens . To the west of Hönde is the Scheuerberg ( 357.1 m above sea level ), to the north is the Moorbacher Berg ( 375.3 m above sea level ).

In 1512 the place was mentioned for the first time in a document, namely "Church bills." The spelling of the first mention was Honde .
A list of the war-related destruction of the Thirty Years' War in Radevormwald from 1655 and 1656 shows the status of “almost all” destroyed or “deserted” for the properties in Hönde.

Hönde is in Radevormwald's municipal electoral district 181, which on January 1, 2004 had a total of 922 eligible voters. Politically, the place is represented by the direct candidate from electoral district 180 in the city council of Radevormwald.
leisure
A model airfield operated by the Radevormwald air sports club is located north of Hönde on a flat flank of the Moorbacher Berg .
