Neuenhammer is a hamlet in Radevormwald in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the North Rhine-Westphalian administrative district of Cologne in Germany .
Location and description
Neuenhammer is located northwest of Radevormwald in the Uelfe valley on the state road 414 (Uelfe-Wuppertal-Straße). Neighboring towns are Leimholer Mühle and Im Hagen .
The Eistringhauser Bach flows into the Uelfe within the village.
The place is politically represented in the city council of Radevormwald by the direct candidate from electoral district 130.
history
In the map Topographical Survey of the Rhineland from 1824, a mill symbol is indicated in the location of Neuenhammer. The place name is only mentioned in the Prussian first recording from 1840 to 1844. In Neuenhammer a hammer mill was operated with water power.
