Obernfeld is a village in Radevormwald in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the North Rhine-Westphalian administrative district of Cologne in Germany .
Location and description
The place is west of Radevormwald on the Wuppertalsperre. Neighboring places are Niedernfeld , Oberkarthausen and Karthausen . The Schwarzenberg spring, which flows into the Wuppertalsperre, rises 200 meters to the southwest . In the north of the village, the Karthauser Bach , which flows into the Wupper at Krebsöge, flows past.
Politically, the court is represented by the direct candidate from electoral district 130 in the city council of Radevormwald.
history
In 1715 the farm is listed on the Topographia Ducatus Montani with "ao Feldt". In the map of the topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1825, the place is named with the name "Obernfeld", which is used today.
