Neuenhof is a place of Radevormwald in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the North Rhine-Westphalian administrative district of Cologne in Germany .

Location and description

Neuenhof is on the federal highway 483 , which connects Radevormwald and Ennepetal . Neighboring places are Vogelshaus , Funkenhausen , Im Walde , Böhlefeldshaus , Uelfe III and Grüne .

300 meters east of the village springs from one of the headwaters of the Ennepetalsperre opens Borbachs . The source of the Röttscher Bach, which flows into the Uelfe, is 240 meters south .

There is a shooting range of the Neuenhof 1933 eV rifle club, whose premises can be used as a polling station for political elections if necessary. Neuenhof is politically represented in the city council of Radevormwald by the direct candidate from electoral district 180.

history

In 1516 the place was listed for the first time in the church accounts of the Reformed community in Radevormwald at that time. The spelling of the first mention was "Nyenhovelde".
