Mariclare Costello
Mariclare Costello (born February 3, 1936 in Peoria , Illinois ) is an American actress .
Career
Costello's acting career began in 1967 with the role of Rosie in The Tiger Strikes Back . She was best known for the role of Rosemary Hunter Fordwick in the television series The Waltons , which she played from 1972 to 1977. She made guest appearances in various television series and was mainly seen in television films. In addition to her acting roles, she is a professor of theater studies at Loyola Marymount University .
Costello was married to actor Allan Arbus from 1977 until his death in 2013 .
