Summary

The nerd Ben Harris (played by Eli Wallach ) tries to get hold of a woman the only way he can - by kidnapping . One night when he wants to put his plan into action, he chooses a young attractive woman and tries to kidnap her from behind. The young woman escapes him, however, and Harris accidentally pulls a bag over the head of Gloria Fiske (played by Anne Jackson ). When he brings his victim to his basement apartment and takes the bag from her, he is amazed to find that he has kidnapped a middle-aged housewife. With no other choice, he tries to make the best of the situation. It turns out, however, that everything is not going as he had imagined.

criticism

"Amusing film adaptation of a one-act play, carried by two excellent main actors."
