Marie Baierlein

Marie Baierlein (born January 22, 1869 in Vilseck , † after 1913) was a German writer .

Life

Baierlein was born as the eldest daughter of the writer Joseph Baierlein in the Upper Palatinate . At the age of five, she moved with her parents to Switzerland , where she received a good education. Her mother died when Baierlein was 19 years old. She took over their job in the household and looked after her younger siblings in the years that followed.

In literary terms, she appeared with youth stories, which were printed among others in the New German Youth Friend . Baierlein lived in Aschaffenburg around 1913 .
