Marie of Châtillon-Blois (* 1343 or 1345 ?; † November 12, 1404 ) was mistress of Guise and by marriage Duchess of Anjou and Countess of Provence .

She was the younger daughter of Duke Karl von Bretagne-Penthievre ( House of Châtillon-Blois ) and Johanna von Dreux , granddaughter of Duke Arthur II of Bretagne ( House of France-Dreux ).

Marie married Duke Ludwig I of Anjou , Count of Provence ( House of Valois-Anjou ) in 1360 . She received the Guise estate from her father as a dowry. With Ludwig I she had a son, Ludwig II of Anjou , over whom she was guardian after the death of her husband in 1384. She fought for her son's rights all her life, just as her parents fought for the Duchy of Brittany . She accompanied her son to Avignon , where he was crowned King of Naples and Sicily (and Titular King of Jerusalem ).
