The Marien-Gymnasium is a girls ' high school in Kaufbeuren with a social science, linguistic and natural science-technological branch. The school is the only girls' grammar school in the Allgäu and a volleyball base school .
history
The school history of the Marien-Gymnasium goes back to the year 1831, when the Franciscan nuns in Kaufbeur founded it. Since 1975 the school has been run under the auspices of the Schulwerk of the Diocese of Augsburg .
