The house at Marienplatz 5 in Wittislingen , a municipality in the Swabian district of Dillingen an der Donau ( Bavaria ), was built in 1551. The half-timbered house is a protected architectural monument .

architecture

The house is a two- storey gable roof building in a corner position with a half -timbered upper storey and two-storey half-timbered gable with loading hatches and crane beams. The second gable storey projects slightly over consoles and beams. The year 1531 is carved into a headband on the house with four to five axes . In the gable there is a semicircular hatch on each floor. In the lower gable storey this is flanked by two small rectangular windows. Curved crossbars are placed under all windows .
