Marija Šerienė
Marija Šerienė (born June 25, 1955 in Šilai , Panevėžys Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian politician.
Life
After graduating from the Raguva Middle School in 1973 , she studied accounting at the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija in 1977 . From 1977 to 1979 she worked in the association “Žemūktechnika” in Pasvalys and then as a head accountant in the collective farm . From 1995 to 1996 she was mayor of the Pakruojis district community , and from 1996 to 2000 a member of the Seimas .
From 1992 she was a member of Lietuvos krikščionių Demokratieų partija (LKDP), from 1998 to 2003 the Moderniųjų krikščionių Demokratieų sąjunga .
Šerienė is married. Her husband Anicetas is a veterinarian. Both have sons Povilas and Viktoras.
