Marija Trmčić

Marija Trmčić ( Serbian - Cyrillic Марија Трмчић ; * October 20, 1986 ) is a skier from Serbia .

The student starts almost exclusively in slalom and giant slalom and mainly takes part in FIS races and low-ranking university races. In the World Cup she started only once without qualifying for the second round. The greatest sporting success in 2006 was the participation in the Olympic Games in Turin as a member of the team of Serbia and Montenegro . In slalom she reached 46th place there. 2007 in Åre and 2009 in Val-d'Isère Trmčić took part in the world championships. In three starts she only reached the finish line 51st in the giant slalom in Åre. In 2010 she took part in the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver for Serbia , but was eliminated in the first slalom run. In 2008 Trmčić became a Serbian slalom champion.
