Marijana Verhoef

Marijana Verhoef (born 1986 in Belgrade , Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian theater and screenwriter and filmmaker.

Life

Verhoef graduated from Deltion College in the Netherlands . Then she went back to Belgrade to study Dramaturgy and Creative Writing at the University of the Arts Belgrade . Various dramaturgy assistants at the Deutsches Theater Berlin followed . This was followed by a degree in directing at the DFFB .

She was script editor trainee at the "Script & Pitch" program of the TorinoFilmLab, scholarship holder of the International Forum at the Theatertreffen 2016, scholarship holder of the Young European Playwrights Forum at the "New Pieces from Europe" in Wiesbaden and scholarship holder of the Ekran + program of the Andrzej Wajda Film School in Warsaw.

Marijana Verhoef lives and works in Berlin.
