Marilou Bourdon (born September 20, 1990 in Longueuil , Canada ) is a Canadian singer .

Her first success was marked by the song "Tu es comme ça", which she released in a duet with the Québec- born singer Garou and which reached number 10 on the French singles charts in the summer of 2005. The release was the forerunner of the album "La fille qui chante", on which most of the songs were written in collaboration with Jacques Vénéruso , who had already worked for Celine Dion , Garou and Michel Sardou . With her second album "Marilou", which was released in the summer of 2007, she was unable to build on the earlier successes.

Marilou Bourdon's music has its roots in Anglo-American pop and rock . Due to the bombastic instrumentation, her style can be compared with that of the Franco-Algerian singer Chimène Badi or with more recent productions by Michel Sardou .
