Marina Heib

Marina Heib (* 1960 in St. Ingbert ) is a German writer and screenwriter .

Life

Marina Heib studied oriental studies and philosophy in Tübingen and Saarbrücken . After completing her studies, she did a traineeship at Cinema magazine and then wrote for various newspaper offices. After a professional career as a journalist, she switched to television and has been working as a screenwriter for various series since 2000.

In 2006 her first detective novel about Commissioner Christian Beyer was published; since then she has written several crime novels, thrillers and short stories. Her first novels were published by Piper Verlag until she switched to Heyne in 2017 .

Marina Heib has lived and worked in Hamburg since 1988 .
