Mario Eustacchio

Mario Eustacchio (born October 9, 1964 in Graz ) is an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ). Since April 4, 2017 he has been Vice Mayor of Graz.

education

Mario Eustacchio trained as an office clerk at the vocational school in Feldbach from 1980 to 1983 . In 1988 he graduated from the commercial academy with a high school diploma and studied business administration at the Karl-Franzens University until 1990 . From 1996 to 2000 Eustacchio studied Marketing Management at the University of Applied Sciences for working people in Graz.

Professional background

From 1990 to 1995 Eustacchio worked for Steiermärkische Bank und Sparkassen AG at the counter. In 1995 he moved to the Graz bank Krentschker , where he remained until his election to the city council in November 2008.

Political career

After the previous city party leader and city councilor of the FPÖ, Susanne Winter, moved to the National Council and withdrew from Graz city politics, Eustacchio Winters took over functions and stood as the FPÖ's top candidate in the 2012 municipal council election , which achieved a share of 13.75 percent of the vote. In the city government, Eustacchio was entrusted with the transport department. For the early municipal council elections in Graz in 2017 , Eustacchio again ran as the FPÖ's top candidate. The new Graz city government, an ÖVP / FPÖ coalition, was elected on April 4, 2017, and Eustacchio became deputy mayor. With the office of deputy mayor, he also took over the housing department from Elke Kahr .

Private

Eustacchio lives with his wife Ulrike in Graz and has two children with her.
