Mario Forges Davanzati

Mario Forges Davanzati (* 1941 in Rome ) is an Italian film director .

Life

Forges Davanzati worked for more than a decade as an assistant director for numerous colleagues before he made his directorial debut in 1973 under the pseudonym Luca Davan , a comedy with Lino Banfi . It was to remain his only film; after directing the second staff for Duccio Tessaris Zorro the following year he went to Polynesia and left the film business. His brother is the cameraman Roberto Forges Davanzati .

In 2003 Forges Davanzati presented a documentary about Paul Gauguin .

Forges Davanzati is married and has three children. He lives near Punaauia .
