Mario Kröpfl (born September 29, 1991 in Vienna ) is an Austrian football player on the position of defender.

Career

Kröpfl played for First Vienna FC since his youth and went through all youth departments. He made his debut in the fighting team on July 2, 2008 in the Regionalliga-Ost game against SV Wienerberg , in which he was on the starting line-up and played through. The game ended 2-2.

In early 2009, the defender tore a cruciate ligament and was out for six months. He celebrated his comeback in the first division away game of First Vienna FC against Red Bull Juniors on November 27, 2009, which was lost 2-1.

After eight years in the Vienna men's squad, he moved to the second division club Floridsdorfer AC in summer 2016 .

For the 2018/19 season he switched to league rivals SV Ried . He left Ried after the 2018/19 season.
