Mario Pilar (born September 7, 1927 in Grenoble ) is a French actor .

At the age of 18 he played his first role in When Louis goes on a journey . In the following years he was mainly seen in French productions like 1968 in the crime film Les Enquêtes du commissaire Maigret or in mafia films like 1972 in The Valachi Papers and The Revenge of the Sicilian . He played u. a. Supporting roles in films with Bud Spencer and Terence Hill .
