Mario Valota (born February 8, 1918 , † September 30, 2000 ) was a Swiss sword fencer .
successes
Mario Valota took part in the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki and won the bronze medal in the team competition. In addition to him, the team included Paul Barth , Paul Meister , Otto Rüfenacht , Willy Fitting and Oswald Zappelli . At the 1953 World Championships in Brussels he also won bronze with the Swiss team.
In 1959 the Swiss Fencing Association awarded him the Challenge Eugène Empeyta .
