Marion Marga Herdan (born October 20, 1958 in Kiel ) is a Schleswig-Holstein politician ( CDU ) and was briefly a member of the German Bundestag in 2017 .

Marion Herdan, née Pflüger, trained as a lawyer and notary assistant after graduating from the Ricarda-Huch-Schule in Kiel from 1977 to 1981 and has worked in her husband's law firm since 1986.

Marion Herdan is a Protestant, married and has two sons.

Marion Herdan is a member of the CDU and is active in the party in various board positions. Since 2000 she has been a board member of the CDU Molfsee, since 2002 a board member of the CDU Rendsburg-Eckernförde and since 2008 deputy chairwoman of the CDU Rendsburg-Eckernförde and deputy chairwoman of the CDU Molfsee.

In terms of local politics, she was the municipal representative in Molfsee for her party from 1998 to 2010 , member of the office committee and second deputy head of office. She has also been a member of the district council in Rendsburg-Eckernförde since 2003. As a result of the new constituency layout for the state elections in Rendsburg-Eckernförde, the number of MPs was reduced from four to three. However, Herdan was unable to prevail in the vote to list the direct candidate and lost to the employee at the Landgesellschaft, Hauke ​​Göttsch .

In 2009 she was elected to the Schleswig-Holstein Landtag , where she was a member of the education committee. Her mandate ended on May 6, 2012.

On June 28, 2017, she moved to the German Bundestag, to which she was a member until the end of the legislative period.
