Marion Schmitt

Marion Schmitt (born June 18, 1959 in Cologne ) is a German writer.

life and work

Her first publication, a story about the consequences of an accident, was published in 1999 under the title The Quite Everyday Madness . 2001 followed the novel But life goes on . In it, she describes how her life and her brother's life were completely changed by a tragic accident in which some young people lost their lives.

Marion Schmitt is married and has two children. Since 1993 she has lived with the painter and photographer Jürgen Schmitt in Scheven in the Eifel National Park .
