Marja

Marja is a female given name. It is the Upper Sorbian ( IPA: 'maʀʲa ) and Finnish ( IPA:' marja ) form of the name Maria, whereby in Finnish the origin of the word marja (berry) is also possible.

In Upper Sorbian there is also the variant Marija in addition to Marja .
