Marjan Schultz

Marjan Schultz (* 1892 in Lampasch , Prussian Eylau district ; † 1942 in Königsberg (Prussia) ) was a German administrative lawyer and municipal official in Königsberg.

Life

Schultz studied at the University of Königsberg law and was established in 1923 to Dr. iur. PhD. After the assessor examination, he was a judge at Insterburg . He moved to the city administration of Königsberg as a magistrate. His life's work became the administration of the Königsberg port . From 1923 he was managing director of the port operating company. As the operator of the port company, he made the port operationally so functional that it was ultimately up to all tasks in the Second World War . The docks were deepened to 8 m. In addition to his position as port director, Schultz was head of the Reichsverkehrsgruppe Seeschiffahrt . Before 1930, he was responsible for the construction of an administration building and two storage facilities at Harbor III. The house of the stevedores near the fortress Groß Friedrichsburg was thanks to him. He died at the age of 50 during the war. His son Reinhold became a qualified engineer in Hanover.
