Marjorie Okell

Marjorie Okell ( Marjorie Francis Okell, married Harris ; born April 1, 1908 , † October 3, 2009 ) was a British high jumper .

In 1934 she was starting for England at the British Empire Games in 1934 starting sixth.

In 1929 and 1931 she became English champion. Her personal best of 1.57 m she set on August 3, 1931 in Leamington .

She worked as an association official until old age. For her commitment, she was honored as Honorary President of the Women's Amateur Athletic Association .
