Mark Deiters

Mark Deiters (* 1970 ) is a German legal scholar .

Life

After studying law (1990–1994) in Bonn , he passed the first state examination in 1994 . From 1994 to 2000 he was a research assistant at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf . From 1997 to 2000 he completed his legal clerkship . After receiving his doctorate in 1999 as Dr. iur. and the second state examination in law in 2000, he was a research assistant at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf from 2000 to 2006 . After completing his habilitation in 2006, he has held the chair for criminal law, criminal procedural law and commercial criminal law since 2006 .

His main research interests are criminal procedural law, corruption criminal law and general commercial criminal law.
