Mark Gorman ( Russian Марк Гурман ; Hebrew מרק גורמן; Born February 9, 1989 in Alma-Ata ) is a Kazakh - Israeli soccer player .
Career
Mark Gorman was born in the then Soviet Alma-Ata , now Almaty in Kazakhstan. Gorman comes from a Jewish family and moved to Israel at the age of 14 after being discovered by Israeli soccer manager Shlomo Schwarz . He started his career in Israel at Hapoel Petah Tikva . After a year on loan with Maccabi Ahi Nazareth , he moved back to his native Kazakhstan in 2010 in the premjer league for the capital club FK Astana . In 2012 he was loaned to the league competitor FK Qairat Almaty at the beginning of the new season .
National team
Gorman played his first international match for the Kazakh national football team in a friendly against Syria on August 11, 2011 . He was a participant in the qualifying games for the Euro 2012 and the 2014 World Cup.
