Mark Lester
Mark Lester (* 11. July 1958 in Oxford as Mark A. Last ) is a British actor , best known for his roles in British and European films of the 1960s and 1970s.
life and career
He celebrated his greatest success in 1968 as Oliver Twist in Carol Reed's Oscar-winning musical film Oliver (1968).
As a young adult, the actor had intermittent drug problems and wasted all of his fortune within a few years. After receiving bad reviews for his leading role in the Mark Twain film adaptation of The Prince and the Beggar in 1977 , the acting offers also declined . In 1980 he retired from acting and studied osteopathy at the British School of Osteopathy . Today he runs a clinic in Cheltenham, England . He has been married to Lisa Lester for the second time since 2006, and he has four children from his first marriage.
Mark Lester became close friends with Michael Jackson in 1981 , he became the godfather of Jackson's three children. In 2009 he attracted attention by saying that he might be the biological father of Jackson's children. He made a sperm donation in the 1990s for his friend's desire to have children.
