Career

Derby County

The only 16-year-old Mark O'Brien made his debut on May 3, 2009 for Derby County in a 1: 3 away defeat at Watford FC . After two appearances in the 2010/11 season, O'Brien played in the Football League Championship 2011/12 twenty league games before he was out from the end of December 2011 due to injury until the end of the season. After he had earned a place in the team again in the course of the 2012/13 season, another knee injury caused the season to end prematurely.
