Mark Roper

Mark Roper (born March 16, 1958 in Johannesburg ) is a South African film and television director and screenwriter.

Life

Roper began his work in the film business as a producer and screenwriter for various television productions from 1982. In the following year he also made his directorial debut. He has also been working as an assistant director since then. His own productions are in the low-budget area and often also direct-to-video films. Among other things, he has directed several Harry Alan Towers productions . Occasionally he also worked for television series. Roper shot a few episodes of Tarzan - The Return and Conan, the Adventurer .

In 1996 he directed the science fiction film Shadowchaser 4 , which was originally titled Orion's Key and, apart from the main actor Frank Zagarino, has nothing to do with the rest of the Shadowchaser film series.
