action

In exchange for important information, an American politician secretly offers the Russians marines to support their fight against the dreaded Vladimir Antonov. While attempting to arrest Antonov in Bosnia , Marine Josh Everett and his men are ambushed , with several men dying or captured. Weeks later, the opportunity for retaliation approaches when Josh and his comrades are dispatched to Chechnya in support of a Russian special task force to storm Antonov's headquarters and free the prisoners. However, when there was a violent exchange of fire with the rebels and the first Marine and several Russians were killed, the politician ordered the contract to be suspended and an air strike to destroy the base. However, Josh and his men continue the operation with their Russian colleagues. They liberate a village attacked by the rebels in order to save the inhabitants, conquer a bunker, with further losses, and destroy a battle tank that suddenly appears. Then the Russian major Kirilenko portrays himself as an alleged traitor and, surrounded by dozens of rebels, forces the Americans to give up. They are taken to the rebel headquarters, where Kirilenko is greeted by Antonov with a handshake and the marines are imprisoned. However, with Kirilenko's help, they manage to get free and take Antonov prisoner.

Reviews

"Military spectacle with a clear tendency to worship heroes, with a naive worldview and non-stop (cheap) action."
