White moves and wins

Template: checkerboard / maintenance / new

Solution:

1. Kf6 – e7 c5 – c4
2. Ke7 – d8! Kb5 – c5
3. Kd8 – c8! c7 – c6
4. d5 – d6 Kc5xd6
5. Kc8 – b8! c6 – c5
6. Kb8 – b7 Kd6 – d5
7. Kb7xa7 and White wins.

Mutual pressure to move after 6. Kb8 – b7 justified, which is why 5. Kc8 – b7 c6 – c5 fails.
