Mark Vollrath

Mark Vollrath (born February 22, 1962 in Darmstadt ) is a German psychologist .

Life

From 1982 to 1988 Vollrath studied psychology at the University of Würzburg . He received his doctorate there in 1992 on the subject of “Micro-pauses in speaking. Apparative registration and psychological significance "for Dr. phil. . In 2001 he completed his habilitation in Würzburg on "Learning processes in alcohol tolerance".

In 2001/02 he was the professor for general and cognitive psychology at the University of Oldenburg . From 2003, Vollrath headed the Human Factors department at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Braunschweig .

In 2007 he accepted a professorship for traffic psychology at the Technical University of Braunschweig .

Vollrath is married and has two sons.
