The market hall in Aix-en-Othe , a former French commune in the Aube department in the Grand Est region , was built in 1889. The market hall has been classified as a monument historique since 1995 .

In 1860 the old market hall, which had been built from stone , was demolished and in 1889 the new market hall was completed on the model of buildings by the architect Victor Baltard . The load-bearing parts are made of cast iron and the walls are made of bricks. The structure is supported by 20 iron pillars on the outside and eight pillars inside. In the middle of the roof structure, a skylight enables ventilation and illumination with daylight. Large metal doors on the front and back facilitate access for goods and customers.

In 1997 the market hall was extensively renovated.
